- Educational Qualification:
- Matriculation plus 2 years ITI in any of these trades:
- Electrician/Instrument Mechanic/Electronics Mechanics/Wireman
- Fitter/Mechanic Computer Hardware/Mechanic Industrial Electronics
- Information Technology & Electronics System Maintenance
- Mech. Communication Equipment Maintenance/Mechanic Mechatronics
- Equivalent NCVT/NCTVT/NAC certified by Defense Services
- Matriculation plus 2 years ITI in any of these trades:
- Age Limit: Maximum 50 years as on notification date (23/04/2025)
- Special Requirements:
- Only ex-military personnel eligible (serving personnel retiring by 31/05/2025 may apply)
- Knowledge of Kannada essential
- Not eligible if discharged on medical/disciplinary grounds
BMRCL Maintainer Recruitment 2025 - Selection Process
- Written Examination:
- 100 marks (120 minutes duration)
- Sections: General Knowledge (30), Reasoning & Analytics (30), Tech Proficiency (40)
- Negative marking: ¼ mark per wrong answer
- Question paper in English
- Interview: For shortlisted candidates
- Medical Test: Strict medical fitness standards including:
- Vision: 6/6 without glasses
- Various health tests (blood sugar, ECG, X-ray etc.)
Tie-breaker: Age (elder candidate given preference for equal marks)
