Eligibility Criteria
- Educational Qualification:
- Matriculation/SSLC plus ITI in specified trades (Fitter, Electrician, etc.) OR
- Matriculation/SSLC plus Course Completed Act Apprenticeship in specified trades OR
- Matriculation/SSLC plus 3 years Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics/Automobile Engineering
- Engineering Degree in relevant disciplines also acceptable
- Medical Standards:
- Medical Standard: A-1
- Distant Vision: 6/6,6/6 without glasses
- Near Vision: Sn: 0.6,0.6 without glasses
- Must pass tests for Colour Vision, Binocular Vision, etc.
- Candidates who have undergone Lasik surgery are not eligible

- Second Stage CBT (CBT-2):
- Part-A: 100 questions, 90 minutes
- Part-B: 75 questions, 60 minutes (qualifying nature)

How to Apply
- Applications must be submitted ONLINE only through official RRB websites
- Candidates must first create an account with valid email and mobile number
- Upload scanned:
- Recent passport size color photograph (35mm x 45mm, white background)
- Signature (black ink on white paper, running handwriting)
- Pay application fee online:
- General/OBC/EWS: ₹500/- (₹400 refundable after appearing in CBT-1)
- SC/ST/Ex-SM/Female/Transgender/EBC/Minorities: ₹250/- (fully refundable after appearing in CBT-1)
- Submit the application before the deadline
Application Modification:
Candidates can modify certain details from 14-05-2025 to 23-05-2025 by paying ₹250/- modification fee per occasion

Important Notes
- Candidates can apply to only ONE RRB and submit only ONE application
- Multiple applications will lead to disqualification
- All communications will be through SMS/email to registered mobile/email
- SC/ST candidates eligible for free sleeper class rail pass for attending exams
- Banned items in exam: Mobile phones, electronic gadgets, pens, etc.
- Selected candidates will undergo training with stipend
