Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualifications:
- For most posts: Minimum General Educational Qualification (SSLC Pass)
- Village Administrative Officer, Junior Assistant, etc.: SSLC Pass
- Typist/Steno-Typist: SSLC + Typewriting/Shorthand qualifications in Tamil/English
- Forest Guard: Higher Secondary with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Zoology/Botany
- Forest Guard with Driving Licence: HSC + Valid Driving Licence + 3 years experience
- Junior Executive (Office): Degree + Co-operative Training + Computer Course

Selection Process
- Single Stage Written Examination:
- Part A: Tamil Eligibility-cum-Scoring Test (100 questions)
- Part B: General Studies (75 questions)
- Part C: Aptitude and Mental Ability (25 questions)
- Total: 200 questions (300 marks, 3 hours duration)
- Minimum Qualifying Marks: 90/150 in Part A and 40% overall
- For Forest Posts: Physical Standards Test and Endurance Test (25km walk for males, 16km for females in 4 hours)
- Certificate Verification: Onscreen followed by physical verification
- Counselling: Based on merit and reservation rules
